Nicolas Moreton's passion for stone began as a child, visiting Stonehenge with his family and sitting on the stones to eat lunch.  Years later he discovered stone carving while studying for a degree in Fine Art and has been working stone ever since.  Nicolas uses hand tools only and prefers British stones.  His sculpture is largely about growth and fertility.  He exhibits widely and has work in private collections all over the world.
