“I move freely from abstract to figurative/symbolic forms and shapes to realise ideas that originate from a wide variety of starting points. References to historical dates, simple natural forms and household objects typify the range of my source material. I view my working methods as processes of discovery seeking to give form to subject matter in collaboration with materials rather than seeking to impose pre-conceived ideas”.
